I think Taylor Swift is a role model because she seems to really apreciate her sucess and not take anything for granted. She didn't get here because of a famous parent or last name. She started as a song writer and writes her own music. She wrote a song for a friend who had an eating disorder, which is great for girls to hear. "Picture to burn" is an impowering song for girls too.
